Dr. Sun is a GI pathologist certified by American Board of Pathology. She received her medical degree from Xi'an Medical College, China. After coming to this country, she worked as a research associate at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She had many research articles published on peer reviewed journals. After achieving her ECFMG and USMLE certificates, she completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at TUFTS University in Boston. To pursue a subspecialty training, she completed her fellowship at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Since then, she has been practicing pathology for almost 20 years.
