Dr Ma is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and has extensive experience in gastrointestinal pathology and hematopathology. She received her medical degrees from Southeast University Medical College and Nanjing Medical University. Dr Ma earned her PhD in medical sciences and completed residency training at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. She received her fellowship training in hematopathology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. She is a member of both the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She has been in her current position since 2002.
