Dr Peng is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed his training in anatomic and clinical pathology at New York University Medical Center. He extended his stay at NYU Medical Center for a surgical pathology fellowship. He moved to Oklahoma City in October of 1999 after a year of practicing general surgical pathology and cytopathology in a private lab in New York City. Dr Peng also holds a doctorate in toxicology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has research experience in analytical chemistry and molecular biology.
